Some fun for the kids

It seems like my son has tried out almost every after school activity that's possible, including about every kind of sport. But he couldn't find a sport that he really liked until recently, when I suggested that he try out street hockey.

I got the idea about a month ago when I was talking to my cousin online with my clear wireless internet and she was telling me about how her teenage son had started a youth street hockey team as a project to become an Eagle Scout. Luckily, he started it in the same town as we live so my son signed up for it as soon as I told him about it.

Well, all that practice playing about every other sport in America really helped in street hockey because his hand and eye coordination is pretty good and he has the right balance of good sportsmanship and competitiveness. Plus, he seems like a natural when it comes to street hockey. I always knew he was good at roller skating but it never occurred to me that he would be good at street hockey.
