Please help me Pray for a Miracle

Hello Everyone,

I need your prayers and I believe if we all join together and pray a miracle will happen.  This is what happened today. I went to Sonic to pick up a fast meal for my son and a drink for myself. As I tried to drive by other cars to get out a truck hauling trash was parked in the way and I could not get past his vehicle.  So I proceeded to back up into a parked area.  I could not see to the left of me and I proceeded to open my door to take a peek. Eventually I was able to get out and I made a stop on the way home at a convenience store. At that point I noticed I did not have my purse!  It must have fallen out when I opened the door at Sonic. I quickly drove back to Sonic and the area I lost the purse has great lighting...meaning the next person picked up my purse and did not return it. I asked the Manager if anyone had turned it in. NO LUCK.

Here is the sad part. My son had just won money from a pick 3 and gave me $200.00 so I could buy my medication (Concerta ER 54MG) and he had given me $200.00 to apply towards his car payment. All of this money was in my purse.

It gets worse, I had just filled my prescription for pain medication and unfortunately it was in my purse. I also had this months Concerta ER script I planned on filling tomorrow. I had a script for next month of my pain medication and Concerta. This means I cannot fill my Concerta for this month or next month. The doctor will NOT prescribe another narcotic again even if I loose it.  My fatigue and pain is going to become a bigger challenge.

My biggest concern is the possibility of the individual(s) taking my medication and getting hurt. My pain killers are strong and should not be taken without a doctor's consent and care.

Please pray that the individual that found the purse returns it to me. The money can be replaced, but my medications cannot. Plus I am so worried about those medications in the wrong hands.  I hope they are smart enough not to take them.

I need my drivers license, social security card, medicare card, prescription card, bank card(s), checkbook(s), paypal card, other club member cards. What a hassle calling everything in and having to get my drivers license and social security card.

Please say a special prayer that the individual that found my purse returns it with the medications, checkbooks, prescriptions, eyeglasses, inhaler, and rings. Please pray that nobody tries to use the medication and is harmed. Pray for that individual that God will guide them to make the right decision and turn the purse in.

I am very disappointed in myself but another little voice reminds me that I have not lost a life of a loved one. It could be worse. Right now I am pretty calm about what happened, but I feel my anxiety trying to pop up. I guess I will try to get some sleep. Thank God I am busy taking care of my Grandchildren tomorrow.

Please pray for the individual that found my purse and for the recovery of my medications, scripts, inhaler, eyeglasses, and identification.

I hope and pray you had a better day today. I have learned a lesson, no more carrying my purse to the left of the drivers side. I need to place it in the back seat where it cannot fall out. I have also learned not to carry too much medications, scripts, rings, checkbooks, social security number, medical insurance cards, stamps, among other things.  My purse was new, I had just received money to help me out and I had planned on helping one of my son's out with his twins. All I can say is things happen for a reason. I have faith in people and believe whoever found my purse will return the personal important items.

Thanks for reading my post. Sending soft hugs your way.

Hello Dogmom Diva,

Thank you for asking about my purse. No, I never heard anything. However, they have not tried to use my cards, checks, and id to my knowledge. I sincerely hope they threw the medication away since they did not send it back my way.

God Bless, wishing you the best.
