I was on my usual check-up to the eye doctor a while back when I was looking at the eye chart on the wall and telling my eye doctor what I saw.

As usual, my glasses prescription stayed the same, it has been for over 10 years now, but he noticed another medical problem. I had to ask him to repeat what his directions a several times in a row. It seemed that he was talking so low. Then he asked me if I had a hearing aid. I told him that I didn’t and he suggested that I use some of that money I was saving by keeping the same prescription and put it toward helping out my hearing a little bit.

I took his advice and looked up hearing aids prices when I got home from the appointment. I found some information about hearing aids in CA and went and got fitted with one that week.

The next day I called my eye doctor and told him that I addressed my little hearing problem. He said he was glad to help with my hearing since I obviously didn’t need any help with my sight.
